Reminiscent of the Sultan’s palace in the Agrabah city, it was a breath-taking setting, perfectly suited to the theme. Because this hotel had never previously hosted a large-scale event, we purpose-built structures over seven days to bring Vitaly’s vision to life
We wanted guests to plunge into a fairy-tale, oriental world from the very first minutes of the celebration. Firstly, they walked along the path of colorful carpets. Echoing a magic carpet, the faithful companion of Aladdin, we instantly set the scene.
Next, at the entrance, a cavalry with Moroccan musicians providing an oriental soundtrack greeted guests. In addition, we decorated the threshold with dozens of Moroccan carved lamps surrounded by greenery and flowers. It was the perfect taste of what was to come and immediately got guests into the spirit.
The client’s favorite colours defined the colour scheme of the event – gold and purple. As a luxury event planner in Marrakesh, we channel our experience and talents into personalised and truly bespoke events. Gold jugs and antique teapots, each filled with gold coins that were then poured onto the tables, decorated the table tops. We selected vibrant orchids as the feature flower for arrangements. Each and every floral design wowed with wonderful, sumptuous purple tones.
Especially for this private event in Marrakesh, we developed a lighting system that created special effects on the walls of the palace. Throughout the evening, waterfalls of sparkling rain made of lights, lights graffiti on the walls and even a laser show surprised guests.
In addition, to support the special effects, we also staged a fire show on the roof of the main building and decorated the space with thirty thousand burning candles. Huge scale installations created the breath-taking impact our client desired, and are a specialty of us as a luxury event planner at Cocoon Events.
The whole evening was accompanied by traditional music, dances and performances that were reminiscent of the oriental tale Aladdin. We also organized a separate lounge area for guests with hookahs. Soft, colorful pillows, fragrant tea on golden trays and traditional oriental music awaited guests here.
